We want to be as transparent as possible for our customers and potential new employees. This includes keeping as few questions as possible open. In this area we would like to answer some frequently asked questions - maybe you will find the right answers ...

 

General questions

Are all job advertisements advertised on your site up-to-date?
Yes! Once a position has been filled, the corresponding job offer will be removed from our website.

Are there application deadlines for the vacancies?
Usually not. As long as the jobs are online, you can apply if interested. If in exceptional cases there is a fixed deadline, this then will be communicated within the vacancy details.

Must the requirements of the job advertisements apply 100% to me, so that an application makes sense?
The requirements that we publish in our job offers, in our view, describe the "perfect candidate". Experience shows that there is something very rare. If you meet most of the requirements and you find yourself in the profile described, an application definitely makes sense.

Can I apply for several jobs at the same time?
If you find in our job ads several jobs that interest you, you can of course apply multiple times.

Does it make sense to reapply after a rejection?
In most cases, a negative response does not mean that you are not qualified enough. Maybe another candidate just fits in a bit better. That's why it can work out the next time. Apply again if you find a suitable job!

How do I apply correctly to Buchbinder?
We have kept our application process as simple as possible. How exactly the application works, you can see here.

Can I also apply proactively to Buchbinder?
Of course, you are free to approach us with unsolicited applications if you do not find anything suitable right away in our job advertisements. Should there be a vacancy in your area then we will come back to you.

 

Questions about the application process

Who is my contact person for questions concerning my application?
The respective contact person can always be found in the job advertisements. If you have any questions, feel free to contact the relevant colleague.

How long does the application process usually take?
We deal intensively with every application we receive. Nevertheless we want to avoid of course that applicants have to wait unnecessarily long for a response. Normally you will hear from us within 1-2 weeks.

Which documents are necessary for my application?
In addition to the cover letter, your application must include a meaningful CV, certificates and references, a salary requirement and the earliest possible starting date.

Is there a limit to the data size when applying by e-mail?
The data size of an application mail should not exceed 4 MB for technical reasons.

How do I know that my application has been successfully submitted?
After receiving your application, you will receive an acknowledgment of receipt by e-mail. This is done manually, so it may take some time for it to arrive.
